Call them parakeets, budgies or budgerigars; these pet birds have the energy of interacting quite affectionately with their selected human - if they are trained to do so.
Very cheap to buy and home, they make a great initial pet.
But then, to my surprise, via all the chaotic noise I then noticed the faint distant sound of the St. Mary's church bells ringing! It's long, completely timed chimes, ringing aloud, holding its own.
